Hi Mel,
I’m one of Emily’s friends and we met a long time ago. I found your post about 12 Days of Christmas while on Pinterest because I wanted to do it with my kids this year. We used to do it when I was younger and it was the best! I LOVE this idea about a Christ centered 12 Days! Thank you so much for sharing and for the tags.

You’re awesome! Merry Christmas.

And where did you get the Nativity finger puppets? And do you have a poem to start this off? Thanks!

I love this list, thanks! I thought of a few more ideas, just for substitutions if they are wanted:
Wonderful: “wonderful” brand pistachios or POM juice
Comforter: a homemade hot sack (rice-filled sack that you microwave to warm up and snuggle with)
Alpha and Omega: Alpha-bits cereal, or alphabet soup or pasta
Morning Star: star ornament
Savior: Life savers
Eternal Father: Dad’s root beer
Holy One: donut holes/craft hole punch/swiss cheese/something else with a hole(s) in it
The Word: a Christmas story, any one you like. Or use this in place of Emmanuel above.

You really got me thinking! I love this 12 days, this is a keeper. Thanks again
