Wondering to give to a new mom? Here's the 10 best gifts for new moms that will make their life easier!
Helpful Gifts For New Moms
Now that I've had 4, (soon to be 5 babies), I wanted to share the 10 best gifts we have received.
So if you know someone who is about to have a baby or just had one and aren't sure what to get them, here's our top 10 gifts for new moms we have ever received.
Of course, baby gifts are fun, be it plushies or cute little apparel (which can be bought from elegantbaby.com). But even better are these gifts for new moms which can make a mother's life/family life easier during the newborn stage. (We all know that new mothers have to deal with a lot of stress and anxiety. During these times a helping hand could really make a difference. Hence the need for discussing the below-mentioned gifts.)
For instance, you can gift a to-be mother anything from skincare products to spa reservations, newborn survival kits, etc. You can also consider hiring a San Antonio newborn photographer or for another location and plan a mother-newborn photoshoot. In this way, you can gift the mother an experience that she can cherish forever. Also, she will have pictures of those first few months, which would become a memory but a lot of meaning and feelings behind them.
A pregnant woman goes through so many tests, including regular ultrasound (check out Free Pregnancy testing in Bloomsburg or similar facility elsewhere) and blood tests to ensure the baby is growing fine. And then delivery!! Which is a hard job in itself. So, while you offer gifts to the newborn, give a small thought to a new mother as well, since she is also going through many things physically and mentally.
1. Freezer Meals
Whether it is your first baby or fourth, a freezer meal is always one of the best gifts for new moms.
Having a newborn is so tiring and not having to worry about making dinner is o helpful. If you want to give a new mom some help, drop off one or two freezer meals or already-made dinners that they can just heat up when they're ready for dinner!

2. Healthy Snacks
Taking a meal to a new mom is very helpful, but maybe you don't have the time to take a full meal. No worries! Dropping off a loaf of bread, some washed and cut fruit and veggies, and other healthy snacks like protein bars, trail mix or power balls will come in super handy!
Check out this cute snack kit for new moms.
3. Free Childcare
If your friend has other children, offering free babysitting or childcare will make you their new BFF! Sometimes mama just needs a nap, so offer to take her other kids for a few hours so she can rest or shower!
Don't say, "hey, call me if you need a sitter." She probably won't ask. Instead say, "Hey, can I come pick up your kids tomorrow for a few hours?"
4. Amazon Prime Membership
Amazon Prime is a mom's saving grace! I love being able to order anything I need and have it delivered in a day or two without loading up the new baby and other children.
Gift a 3-month or 12-month Amazon Prime Membership to new moms and they will love you to the moon and back!
5. Reusable Face Wash Cloths
New moms rarely have time to wash their face at night...at least I didn't want to spend precious sleeping time with a long skin care routine before bed.
I have these reusable face wash cloths that make cleaning make-up off super fast and easy! After a few uses, you can just toss them in the wash! These are the only face cloths I use now. Not only do they save time, but money, too.
6. Newborn Survival Kit
If you want a creative baby shower gift, give this newborn survival kit! It's a gift basket full of helpful and inexpensive gifts that will help mom survive the first few weeks with a newborn! Printable tags explain each gift and how it will help them out!
7. Water Bottle
Nursing moms get super thirsty, so it's nice to have a great water bottle that will keep water cold all day long. This is our favorite inexpensive water bottle that a new mom would love, too!

Who doesn't love Target? Whether mom needs last-minute diapers or wants to pick up some comfy clothes for the postpartum stage, Target gift card is so helpful!
9. Pedicure or Skin Care Products
My friend gave me a gift card for a pedicure after I had a baby and it was so perfect! It gave me a great excuse to get away for an hour and feel pampered! Skin care products like trupure organics are also great gifts for moms.
10. Restaurant Gift Card
Don't have time to make a freezer meal or an entire meal for a new mom? No worries. Give them a gift card for pizza delivery or their favorite restaurant. Or offer to pick them up lunch if you don't want to feed the entire family.
11. Audible Membership
For moms who love to read, but won't have much time, give the gift of Audible Membership! You can choose a 3 or 6 month option-- just enough time to get your friend through the tiring newborn stage.
