We love celebrating Star Wars Day at our house…I mean, with a house full of 4 boys, how could we miss this unique May holiday?
Since family dinner is one daily family tradition we don’t like to miss, we like to find fun ways to make it special every once in a while. And Star Wars day gives us the perfect chance to use all these fun Star Wars recipes.
So whether you want cool mom points or are throwing a Star Wars birthday party, these Star Wars recipes are guaranteed to make your kids think you are the coolest mom in the galaxy.
STAR WARS THEMED FOOD
Don’t worry…. putting all this Star Wars food together really didn’t take much more effort than a normal dinner would have.
With some planning ahead, most of it was prepared early, including the Rolo Cookies, and fruit kabobs.
And there are plenty of no-cook options, too!

DIY STAR WARS PARTY BACKDROP
To set the stage for your own party, you can make this easy DIY Backdrop.
All you need is:
- square peg board (spray painted black)
- Create-Your-Own Banner Kit (from Target)
I have used this pegboard for other parties, including Halloween, so it really only took me a few minutes to put the letters on!
I love how this backdrop took me all of about 5 minutes to make, but it ties everything in together!
