The absolute best (and affordable) way to hang your stockings on a mantle!
BEST STOCKING HOLDERS
After too many years of trying different ways to hang stockings, I have finally found the perfect solution!
Before we had a mantle, I hung our stockings on a mirror with hooks on the bottom. I felt so proud of using my creativity.
But then we moved into a house and we had a real mantle! And you better believe that I was most excited to hang stockings from it!

I collected metal stocking holders for mantle from thrift stores and eventually painted them all black to coordinate.
While they were cute, our stockings were too heavy and would pull the stocking holders off the mantle unless I secured them with packing tape.
That solution worked okay, but as my decorating style become more simple, I realized I didn't like the big and bulky stocking hangers.

Question: did the clips leave any marks/scratches on your mantle when you took them down? I'm intrigued (and they look beautiful), but I'm still a little wary. I've used mini command hooks in the past, but I like the look of the metal clips!

No! I haven't had any scratches on mine! I like command hooks too but I love that these ones can hold more weight!
