The absolute best (and affordable) way to hang your stockings on a mantle!
BEST STOCKING HOLDERS
After too many years of trying different ways to hang stockings, I have finally found the perfect solution!
Before we had a mantle, I hung our stockings on a mirror with hooks on the bottom. I felt so proud of using my creativity.
But then we moved into a house and we had a real mantle! And you better believe that I was most excited to hang stockings from it!
I collected metal stocking holders for mantle from thrift stores and eventually painted them all black to coordinate.
While they were cute, our stockings were too heavy and would pull the stocking holders off the mantle unless I secured them with packing tape.
That solution worked okay, but as my decorating style become more simple, I realized I didn’t like the big and bulky stocking hangers.
I tried push pins. And that was a bad idea.
I was browsing at Target last year and came across these Original MantleClips . The price was very affordable so I decided to give them a try!
Seriously, these are amazing!
WHY YOU’LL LOVE THESE STOCKING HANGERS:
The Original Mantle Clips are minimal, stay put and can hold tons of weight without needing tape or extra reinforcement.
- So affordable! A set of 4 is between $13 and $15.
- Stocking clips come in different colors so no matter what color scheme you like, there is an option for you!
- You won’t have any damage to your mantle.
In fact, this was the first year Santa could fill the stockings and leave them hanging on the mantle!
Needless to say, I am hooked. No pun intended.
If you’re wondering how to hang stockings on a fireplace, this is the simplest way to do it!
