This is the best recipe for fruit pizza ever. It's easy, fresh, and perfect to feed a crowd! Use any fruit you have to create this beautiful fruit pizza with sugar cookie crust.
Easy Fruit Pizza Recipe
Meet your new best friend, fruit pizza. This delicious dessert recipe has been a popular one in my family ever since I was little. My mom made it for baby showers, bridal showers, family dinners, pot lucks and everything in between.
The reason why?
Fruit pizza is a giant soft sugar cookie of sorts, covered in a light cream cheese frosting and then topped with fresh fruit. And who can say no to that?
It not only looks beautiful, bright, and fresh, but you can make this fruit dessert in about 30 minutes. So when you need a quick dessert to feed a crowd, this recipe comes to the rescue!

Fruit Pizza Ingredients
To make one baker's half sheet fruit pizza (13x17 crust), you will need the following ingredients:
- 1 cup real butter or margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs*
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- ½ tsp. baking soda
- ⅛ tsp. salt
This fruit pizza crust recipe doubles perfectly if you need 2 baker's half sheets. *If you plan to double the recipe, use 3 eggs for a double recipe.
How To Make Fruit Pizza
After you mix these ingredients together, you will place them on a baker's half sheet pan or a large round pizza pan (16") and bake for 10-15 minutes.
I usually err on the side of 15 minutes, but the trick is to not over bake or you will lose the soft sugar cookie fruit pizza amazingness. (I know that's not a word, but it seemed appropriate.)
Just keep checking after about 11 minutes to see how the pizza dough is looking. It will be done when the edges are starting to turn a slight golden brown.
What pan to use
This recipe for fruit pizza makes 1 baker's half sheet (13x18.) You can easily double the recipe to make 2 fruit pizzas if you are serving a lot of people.
I also love making a large round fruit pizza in this 16" disposable round pizza pan. It's so pretty!

Fruit Pizza Cookies
Cookie fruit pizza is easy to make if you want individual servings. Simply roll out the sugar cookie crust into smaller circles and bake like you would a cookie.
Frost and top with fruit as you would if you were making a Pillsbury Sugar Cookie fruit pizza. Except yours is homemade and so much better!
Fruit Pizza Frosting
While the fruit pizza sugar cookie crust is cooling, use a stand or hand mixer to make the light and fluffy cream cheese frosting. These quantities will make enough frosting for one pizza:
- 8 oz. block of cream cheese, softened
- ⅓ cups sugar
- ¾ tsp. vanilla
And then you get to decorate this sugar cookie pizza with your favorite fruits! The possibilities are endless when it comes to topping the fruit pizza. Typically our favorite fruits to put on top are: kiwi, fresh pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, mandarin oranges, raspberries, and grapes.
You can easily customize this for different holidays or occasions. Use blue and red fruit for a 4th of July dessert. Use rainbow colored fruit for a rainbow party.
