Cute, personalized mini 7-layer dip cups perfect for Cinco de Mayo or any other fiesta!
EASY 7-LAYER DIP
Do you need a delicious party appetizer? This incredibly easy 7-layer bean dip is so fast to make. You’ll have it ready for your party in no time!
7-LAYER DIP INGREDIENTS
Here’s what you’ll need for your 7-layer dip. Feel free to sub out any layers you don’t like.
- Black beans
- Sour cream
- Salsa (your favorite heat)
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Diced tomatoes
- Chopped olives
The great thing about this chip dip recipe is that it is very easy to make, especially if you use a few tricks and shortcuts.
- Buy pre-made guacamole
- Buy shredded cheese
- Use canned black beans
You can make this 7-layer dip up to a day in advance, but the ingredients can be chopped and prepped early as well, so if you want to prep it just before your gathering, that’s fine, too!
I always use this tomato dicer to get my chopped tomatoes uniform in size (plus it has them all cut in about 5 seconds!)
INDIVIDUAL 7-LAYER DIP SERVINGS
I just love all things mini and these individual servings are just too cute. They make it really convenient for your party guests to grab a cup and start eating!
Plus, they look so pretty they can double as decoration for your Cinco de Mayo fiesta.
Just remember: if you serve the dip like this, place the tortilla chips in right before you serve, otherwise they will get soggy!
And yes, if you don’t want to make mini dip cups, feel free to layer all the ingredients into a 9×9 baking dish.
