Need a super easy, but delicious glazed ham recipe? This slightly-sweet, but savory and flavorful glaze caramelizes while the ham bakes in the oven.
EASY GLAZED HAM
Hosting Easter dinner and not sure how make a delicious ham? Don’t worry, I was in the same predicament too. I remember when my husband and I hosted our first Easter dinner a few years ago. Neither of us had cooked a ham before, but it was up to us to serve one that could live up to the expectations of our guests.
I needed a glazed ham recipe that was easy with simple ingredients. I came across this one and decided to give it a go.
All of our guests said it was the best ham they had ever eaten! I passed the recipe on to my sister who made this brown sugar glazed ham at a dinner as well…and guess what? The guests said the same thing! They all asked for the recipe because they loved the flavor and the way the ham glaze caramelized in the oven.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE
You’ll be able to whip up the glaze in just a minute or two. Once it’s all combined, you’ll pour it over the sliced ham (or use on a bone-in ham) and bake. Baking time can vary, but expect to keep it in the oven about 40 minutes, possibly 50 if you want the glaze crispier.
If you use a larger ham, follow the baking directions on the packaging.
WHAT TO SERVE THIS GLAZED HAM WITH:
- Cheesy (funeral) potatoes
- 1-hour soft & fluffy rolls
- Jello Eggs
- Deviled eggs
- Apple salad
- Best Carrot Cake with whipped cream cheese frosting

- boneless ham
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 Tbsp. vinegar or red wine vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. water
- Slice ham and place on a baking sheet.
- Mix all the other ingredients together and pour over the sliced ham.
- Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes. If you’d like it crispier, cook longer.) Re-glaze if you’d like.
