My sweet sister shared this recipe with us years ago and it's now the only recipe we use. In fact, my children ask often when we are going to have another fondue night. It has become a favorite Valentine's Day tradition.
Any recipe that takes only 3 seconds to prep becomes a favorite in my book. But it's delicious, too.
No fondue pot required! I use this small slow cooker.
Just throw the 2 ingredients into the slow cooker, grab your favorite fondue dippers and you are set to have a fun and interactive dessert with those you love.

HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE FONDUE IN THE SLOW COOKER
Gather these chocolate fondue ingredients and supplies:
- 12 ounce Milk Chocolate Symphony Chocolate Bar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- small slow cooker
- fondue sticks or skewers
*This amount will make enough for about 8-10 people. You can easily double or triple this recipe to feed a larger crowd.
Break up the chocolate bar and place in the small slow cooker. Add the heavy cream and give it a good stir. Turn the heat setting to warm. Warm through for 1-2 hours.

Easiest Chocolate Fondue Recipe

The easiest slow cooker chocolate fondue that's perfect for Valentines' Day, New Years, or any other time you want a fun and interactive dessert!
Ingredients
Fondue:
- 12 oz. Symphony Bar (milk chocolate or any variety. We love the toffee and almond variety)
- ¾ cup heavy whipping cream (may need 1 cup)
For dipping:
- Fondue sticks
- Strawberries
- Bananas
- Marshmallows
- Angel Food cake
- Cookies
- Pretzels
Instructions
- Turn your slow cooker on low. Break up the chocolate bar. Add ¾ cup heavy cream. Melt for 1 ½ cup to 2 hours. Add additional cream if it's too thick. You don't want it to runny, though.
- Once melted, turn to warm or keep on low.
- Dip your favorite things like strawberries, pineapple, marshmallows, angel food cake, cookies, etc.
- Prep Time: 3 minutes
- Cook Time: 1 ½ hours
