Make your own butter with this easy recipe.
- heavy cream
- mason jar with lid
- clean marble
- Fill a clean jar 1/2 full with cream. It does not matter the size of your jar, just make sure to only fill it half way so that there is room for the butter to form. Secure the lid on tight.
- For unsalted butter, start shaking until butter forms.
- For salted butter, add 1/4 tsp. salt for every 1 cup cream you add to your jar.
- Pro tip: to speed up the churning process, add a small clean marble into the jar to help the butter form faster.
