CUTE APPLE GIFT IDEAS
Last year I was the Room Mother for my son's 1st grade class, so I went all out to put together a gift bag full of goodies from the whole class. I'm not suggesting that anyone needs to do all of these things, I just thought it would be fun to share several ideas for you to pick and choose from. I'm a sucker for a good apple theme when it comes to teacher gifts, so here's a few fun and themed ideas for you today...

1) APPLE EOS
Grab this inexpensive Red EOS lip balm and attach it to this cute card for your favorite teacher.

2) APPLE PENCIL JAR & PENCILS
What teacher couldn't use more pencils?? I just spray painted a glass jar red and added some paper leaves to look like an apple. I filled the jar with the teacher's favorite kind of pencils. Super easy. Super cute.

3) PHOTO CD
If you're lucky enough to volunteer at your child's school, grab some pictures of the different activities each time you go. At the end of the year throw them all on a CD as a great gift for the teacher. I even have the printable to make the apple themed CD sleeve for you at the end of the post.

4) APPLEBEES GIFT CARD
What teacher couldn't use a nice night out to celebrate another school year for the books. A giftcard to Applebees goes right along with the theme and it's a gift you know they'll actually want and use. You can grab this printable at the end of the post as well!

5) FRAMED CLASS WORD ART
I found an awesome tutorial on how to make this apple art here. Instead of making a card like she did, I decided to frame it as a keepsake for the teacher to remember her little class by. All you'll need is a class list and an white frame.

6) CLOTH TEACHER BAG
Throw your apple-themed gift(s) in a reusable cloth bag so the teacher can reuse it and it's another gift all on it's own. I used some fun iron on vinyl to personalize this one as well, but you could do just about anything or leave it plain too. Either way they'll love it!

Thank you so much for featuring my Tagxedo art, that's really kind of you. I do like the way that you used it to make a framed picture and think I might give that a go this year! Also love the shopping bag idea and will give that a go as well.
And can I just say that as a primary (elementary) school teacher myself, I would love these gifts!

I'm so glad to hear that! Teachers deserve so much! Thanks for working hard for all those kids.
Kara says
How do you make the word art?
Heather DePaolo says
Love the bag. Is there a website I can purchase it from?
Mel says
Do you mean the plain cloth bag?

I love the framed art idea!! I've been trying to come up with something creative for our teachers and this is it! I have been on tagxedo however and am having a hard time figuring it out. How were you able to change the color of the leaf and stem? Or add the words at the bottom? I need a little help if you can. Thanks!
Ashley says
I also love the framed art, but when I try and create it there is a shaded off white box around my apple that you can only see when you print. How did you get rid of that box?
Thanks,
Ashley

Great ideas. I love the apple word art. I've done mine and about to print. How do you add the typing at the bottom so I can put in the name of their nursery?
Thanks.

Did you use an 8x10 picture frame for the apple? I am using this idea for our teachers this year. I loved it so much and thought it was so cute!
Melissa Sunday says
Yes, but you could change the size depending on the size you print the apple art on!

1. I found a site that will do it into shapes and I did one my husband's second cousin whom lost his mom 2 years ago in February. 2. I did a light at a site and put all my son's places he has been in over the time since he graduated from High school. Very similar both.

Where did you get the image for the bag? I'm trying to find something like that, but I love the flow of this particular image!
