A Tricks-Or-Treats Halloween Party!
Halloween is such a fun holiday. And I say fun, because you can stay far away from the scary stuff (like me!) and enjoy all the orange and black and pumpkins and festive foods and themed parties that this holiday has to offer. Speaking of Halloween parties, I'm going to show you how fun it can be to put together a Halloween party of your own.
How to Create This Tricks & Treats Backdrop
For this tablescape, I used a plastic tablecloth for the backdrop. (Similar one here). Orange and Black colored paper plates with the letters "Tricks & Treats" were a cheap way to make a big statement. I added in other pops of oranges and blacks since again, I'm not into the really scary stuff.
You can be as simple as you like, but I love making a great tablescape. Usually the food is one of the main elements of a party, so I usually spend more time on a themed tablescape than on anything else. I think if you have one great focus point, such as the table, you don't have to do a lot of other decorating.

Now for the party food: a Tricks & Treats To-Go Bar!
Pinterest has lots of great Halloween party food ideas, but what about thinking of something outside the box and inside the cup? Have you heard of the "walking taco" trend? It's where you can mix different snacks together in a container and eat them on the go.
Create Halloween-themed walking tacos for your party guests! NABISCO Go-Paks! make the perfect container for walking tacos. The cups are plastic and won't leak. Also, they are only about half full of product so there is plenty of room to add lots of other things inside. Since the Go-Paks are just $1 at Walmart, it's easy to stock up on them for your party while you are doing your regular shopping.
Right now, you can print a coupon that will get you a FREE Go-Pak when you purchase a Snack Pack Pudding. That makes them an even cheaper treat!
