Back to School Cupcakes- Alphabet dessert

Easy Back to School Cupcakes

I seriously love Back to School time. There is something about the smell of new socks (my husband thinks I’m weird for this!) and brand new school supplies that gets me giddy as a school girl. Pun intended. I don’t even have children that are old enough for elementary yet (thank goodness!), but I find myself getting really excited to celebrate the back to school season with my three year old before he starts a preschool. Any excuse to party, right?

So you want to know the how you can make the easiest back to school cupcakes ever?

Seriously. Of course it’s fun to create these adorable apple-themed cupcakes because apples just scream school, right? But when you don’t have any time for that but still want to celebrate the new school year, well, I’ve got a simple solution for you!

Say hello to the 5-Minute Back to School Cupcake!

These cute alphabet monogram cupcakes would be a perfect treat for the first day of school, a back to school dinner, or a little back to school party.

Spell out a fun word or use initials to decorate the top.

What you need for Back to School cupcakes:

  • cupcakes (store-bought). This makes them so much easier, but you can always make your own!
  • Trader Joe’s alphabet cookies

Simply top the cupcakes with the alphabet cookies. I know it hardly even needs an explanation because it’s so simple.

Tip: Wait until you are ready to serve to place the letter on top!

Happy Back to School!
