100% Whole Wheat Waffles

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups 100% whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup wheat germ
  • 2 Tbsp. ground flaxseed meal
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 cup almond milk (or regular)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. raw honey
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients together.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the milk, egg, vanilla, and honey together.
  3. Melt coconut oil.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients together. Stir in coconut oil last.
