What are your favorite Halloween traditions with children?
One of my favorite Halloween traditions is reading children’s Halloween books all October long. In fact, I’m a sucker for holiday books. And rotating through our holiday stories is a year-long favorite activity.
We love doing our 25 Stories to Christmas Book Countdown, but now that our Halloween collection has grown, I’m thinking we need to start reading one Halloween book a night in October. My children love Halloween books!

WHERE TO GET BOOKS CHEAP
I’m always on the lookout for cheap holiday books, so whenever I’m at a thrift store, I’ll browse the shelves quickly.
I also like to add a new book each year. I’ve found that Amazon Prime has the best deals.
Occasionally, I have also found them at discount stores like Home Goods or Marshalls.
Tip: Check your local library and/or thrift stores for copies of these Halloween books!
If your library doesn’t have them, you can find many of these books on Amazon for pretty cheap.
