    Halloween Pillowcase Tradition

It was tradition in my family growing up to spruce up our beds each October with a Halloween pillowcase. Since there were 7 of us kids, there were plenty to switch around each week between all of us. Now that my boy is old enough for a real pillow, I decided that this was the year to start the Halloween Pillowcase tradition for my own family.

I took him to the fabric store and let him help me pick out some fabric. And by let him help me, I mean I wouldn't let him get the uber freaky or really cheesy fabrics. 🙂 There isn't anything wrong with narrowing down options, right?

    • coordinating thread
    • sewing machine
    • pumpkin to put on the nightstand (totally optional, but doesn't it look festive?)

Scott and I love this! Sewing is not my forte or my favorite thing to do, but I could get over that to make my little ones happy during Halloween eh?!!
