In an effort to eat more whole grains, I wanted a whole wheat pancake recipe that was light and fluffy.
That my children would love.
And that was easy to make.
This amazing recipe from my friend fulfills all the requirements. And I know you’ll love it, too!
EASY TO MAKE A BIG BATCH AND FREEZE FOR LATER
One of the reasons I love this recipe is that it’s so easy! I always have the ingredients on hand.
You can easily double or triple the batch and freeze the leftovers.
They are yummy toasted or heated in the microwave for a quick breakfast.

Light and fluffy whole whole wheat pancakes. Make a double batch and freeze the extras for an easy breakfast!
- 4 Tbsp. oil
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 cup ground wheat flour
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Mix liquid ingredients together first.
- Add in dry ingredients.
- Cook on a hot skillet. Flip after it bubbles and light brown.
