Can I tell you about the most fun party we had for my husband’s birthday this year? He can never decide what type of hamburger to order because of all the delicious toppings. So he, yes, that’s right, HE came up with the idea to have a mini hamburger aka slider bar party for his birthday.
He didn’t have to twist my arm. I had a blast putting this all together. Truth be told though, it was really quite easy. I had the checkered paper stashed away from last summer and whipped up the flags. Chop up the toppings and you’re set! It was simple, but oh so much fun. We ate and ate and ate. Because they are mini, you can do that sort of thing.
The next time you need a fun dinner party idea, have a Slider Dinner Party!
Use your favorite toppings. We chose: tomatoes, bacon, lettuce, sauteed onions, avacado, swiss cheese, and mushrooms. But the possibilities are endless for your Slider Party.
I’m sharing a quick tutorial for the DIY Flag Toppers today over at Or So She Says. Check it out here.
- Use pre-made slider buns (these were from Trader Joes)
- Chop up the ingredients the morning of the party
- Wrap the table in paper for easy clean-up
