Lentil Soup for Passover Dinner


Ingredients

  • 1 cup red lentils
  • 3 1/2 cups water
  • 3 tsp. chicken bouillon
  • 1 can diced Italian tomatoes (or plain and add spices)
  • sauteed onions
  • chopped carrots
  • minced garlic

Instructions

  1. Saute onions, carrots, and garlic for a few minutes.
  2. Throw everything into a crockpot on low for 8-10 hours.
  3. Serve with pita bread, olives, grapes, and sparkling cider for a simple Passover dinner.
