The Easiest St. Patrick’s Day Drink!
If you’re looking for a fun St. Patrick’s Day drink or treat, you’ve got to try these Green Mean Machines.
Green mean machines?
Ha! Yes, these Green Mean Machines were created by my mom, who was the inspiration behind this blog. I’m not lying when I tell you she was the most festive person–always finding simple ways to add a little zest to life. It wasn’t until my Freshman year at college that I realized I was one of the few people who grew up celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.
And that included these refreshing St. Patrick’s Day drinks are exactly that.
Although these green drinks aren’t anything fancy, they sure are fun. Seriously, Saint Patrick’s Day would not be the same without Green Mean Machines.
What You Need for Green Mean Machines:
- 1/2 gallon Lime sorbet
- 7-Up or Sprite
- Rainbow napkins (optional, but fun!)
How to Make Green Mean Machines:
First, mix lime sorbet and your favorite lemon-lime soda in a blender until frothy.
Tip: Start with 1/2 carton lime sorbet and 1 small can of lemon-lime soda.
We like our St. Patrick’s Day drinks nice and thick, but if you don’t like the consistency, just keep adding more sorbet or lemon-lime soda until you have your perfect consistency.
The Great News
You can’t really mess up this frothy green drink dessert up. Start with sorbet first and then add soda until you have reached your desired consistency.
Pour into glasses and sip, sip, away!
