OVERNIGHT MONKEY BREAD RECIPE

No, this delicious bread is not just for monkeys! Just one taste of it and you’ll crave the caramelly goodness.

This easy recipe just takes 5 minutes of your precious hands-on time. And since you can keep all the ingredients on hand, this monkey bread is a great option when you need a “fancy” last-minute sweet bread.

WHY IS IT CALLED MONKEY BREAD?

This tasty treat is called monkey bread because when it is eaten, you pull it apart just like a monkey would pick apart their food.

DOES MONKEY BREAD HAVE TO BE MADE IN A BUNDT PAN?

Making monkey bread in a bundt pan will give it a fancier look and make it easier to pull apart. However, if you don’t have a bundt pan or fluted pan, you can definitely use a regular baking dish.

We eat this exact same thing every year for Christmas breakfast. My sister has started making it for her Mother’s Day breakfast too, but I also love it for a birthday breakfast! So fun, yet simple!
