The other night my husband was craving one of his favorite cookies, Cherry Chocolate Chip Cookies. He ran to the store and had them whipped up in about 30 minutes. I didn’t realize until after they were made how festive they are! The little flecks of red look like sprinkles! And I always love it when something festive actually tastes good, too. I’m adding this recipe to my festive food collection. It’s quick and easy, and fool proof for those who aren’t big bakers, like my husband.

Wouldn’t they be so cute all stacked up with a ribbon tied around them? A festive gift idea!

There’s just something special about homemade cookies, especially chocolate chip cookies, so far as I’m concerned. It’s a great family activity, something even children can help with, and everyone loves eating the results.*
