A few years ago, my husband planned a really fun Christmas date for us. He picked up a few bars of Ivory soap and we carved a nativity together. We are definitely not sculptors by trade, but we had a blast!
What you need for Soap Carving Nativity:
- Ivory soap bars (at least 3-4, but more depending on how many nativity characters you want to carve)
- pocket knife
- painted cardboard for the base
For a fun family activity, assign every one a few nativity characters and create a masterpiece together!
