    this awesome idea!

    EASY PEANUT BUTTER PIE

So you need a quick and easy dessert? Meet the best chocolate peanut butter pie.

Since this pie will only take you 10 minutes or less to prepare, it's a great option when you need a simple pie for National Pi Day, Thanksgiving, or a summer no-bake dessert when you don't want to crank up your oven.

    Simple & Delicious Pie

Do you have kids who love to help in the kitchen? This easy pie recipe is great for children who want to learn how to cook!

    PIE INGREDIENTS

    • 9" Oreo pie crust or graham cracker crust
    • peanut butter (smooth or chunky is fine)
    • cream cheese, softened to room temperature
    • frozen whipped topping like Cool Whip
    • powdered sugar
    • milk (almond or dairy)
    • Reese's peanut butter cups or shredded chocolate for garnish
    • Hot fudge, optional

HOW TO MAKE PEANUT BUTTER PIE

Step 1- Get the pie crust and hot fudge ready

To save some tons of time making this easy peanut butter pie recipe, use a pre-made pie crust from the store.

    Simple Gifts

For a richer taste, I recommend using an Oreo pie shell. A graham cracker pie crust is equally delicious and a little less rich.

To make this peanut butter cream pie extra good, pour about ¼ cup of hot fudge into the bottom of the pie crust.

Use this homemade hot fudge recipe using kitchen staples or store-bought hot fudge.

This step is totally optional, but worth it.

Step 2- Make the peanut butter pie filling

Next, mix the cream cheese and peanut butter together using a hand or stand mixer until light and fluffy.

Slowly add the Cool Whip, powdered sugar, and milk. Mix gently until a light and fluffy peanut butter mousse forms.

Pour this mixture into the pie crust. Place the pie in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. The longer the better.

    Step 3- Garnish & Eat

When you are ready to serve the Reese's peanut butter pie, sprinkle chopped up Reese's candy bars on top and drizzle with more hot fudge.

    Enjoy!

    TOPPING FOR PEANUT BUTTER PIE

Try serving strawberries, bananas or raspberries along side this best peanut butter pie for another great topping!

    Simple Gifts

If you don't have Reese's peanut butter cups handy, you can also grate a chocolate bar or chocolate chips to give the pie a fancier look. ust before serving this chocolate peanut butter pie, shred a chocolate bar or chocolate chips on top to give it a fancy look to it.

Top with additional whip cream if desired.

    Description

A delicious no-bake peanut butter pie in an Oreo or graham cracker crust.

    Ingredients

    Scale
    • 9" Oreo pie shell or graham cracker crust
    • ⅓ cup peanut butter
    • 8 oz. cream cheese
    • 8 oz. Cool Whip
    • ½ cup powdered sugar
    • ¼ cup milk
    • Reeses' peanut butter cups or shredded chocolate for garnish
    • Hot fudge (optional)

    Instructions

Mix cream cheese and peanut butter together until light and fluffy. Then blend in Cool Whip, milk, and powdered sugar. Set aside.

Pour ¼ cup (you want just a thin layer) of hot fudge at the bottom of the pie crust. Then spread the peanut butter mousse on top. You can skip the hot fudge layer, but it makes it extra tasty!

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. You want the pie firm.

Just before serving, garnish with chopped Reese's peanut butter cups, shredded chocolate, or hot fudge.

    Notes

You can keep this peanut butter pie in the fridge for up to 1 week.

This pie will also freeze well.  Be sure to wrap it tightly in an air-tight container before freezing. Let thaw in the fridge when you are ready to eat.
